The client is a modern lifestyle brand creating innovative products designed to transform the way we travel. The company was founded in 2016 to make travel accessories that people would love to use; fast forward to today; they have over 100 employees and ship to 25 countries worldwide.
About the role:
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be part of the marketing core team that fully owns the client’s brand. You will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of our social media platforms.
To be successful in this role, you will have to be passionate about the social media space, adopt a very hands-on approach, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to bring about various types of creative and engaging content in our social media community.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing social media content plans consistent with the company’s brand identity
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns
- Developing and managing influencer programs and managing influencer relationships
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Collaborate with the rest of the departments (customer success, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions to answer questions or resolve concerns posted on social media
- Monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights
Who are we looking for?
- At least 3+ years of experience as a social media specialist
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent
- Attention to detail, creativity in problem-solving
- Experience with paid social media will be preferred
- Ability to take the initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
