About the role:

As a content writer, you’ll be working on producing content for our website, blog, social media and marketing campaigns. You should be someone who can work independently and convert abstract ideas into words on the page.

You’ll also be expected to create and maintain a content calendar and also create content briefs for approval before writing the content pieces. While creating the briefs, you’ll be expected to do some basic SEO research to ensure the articles you’re planning to produce can have SEO impact.

What you'll be doing:

• Organize a writing calendar to complete drafts of content or finished projects  within deadlines
• Use SEO best practices while writing to maximize the online visibility in search results
• Repurpose content pieces for different platforms
• Ability to self-manage and self-edit all produced content
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to ensure content adds value
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding and style
• Editing content to ensure voice, grammar and style are on point

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree required; preferred degrees include English, Journalism, Marketing
• Proven 2+ years of work experience as a Content Writer
• Should be adaptable and flexible to take on the challenge of writing in a multitude of styles and voices
• Experience with WordPress would be a plus
• Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs would be a plus
• Experience using AI writing tools like Jasper, Copy.ai would be a plus
• Attention to detail
• Ability to self manage and work with minimal supervision

Position: Content Writer

Remote Status: Inhouse

Preferred Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Working Hours: 12 pm to 9 pm PK Time

Holidays: Local Holidays

Salary: PKR 55,000 to PKR 80,000 per month
