About the client:
Our client is an established architectural business based in the US, specializing in higher education and commercial site development projects. Their work focuses on delivering efficient, high-quality site planning and design documentation. They are currently expanding operations through a new venture offering site analysis and development plan services to real estate and construction professionals nationwide.
About the role:
We are looking for a skilled CAD Specialist to support commercial site planning projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience creating 2D site development drawings, including layouts showing building footprints, parking areas, driveways, and property lines. Familiarity with Photoshop is required.
The role requires autonomy, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically within defined templates and standards.
Experience with U.S clients is preferred.
Previous experience with architectural projects is a plus.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare detailed 2D site development plans and diagrams in AutoCAD.
- Follow established templates and drawing standards provided by the client.
- Incorporate feedback to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate directly with the client for clarifications, revisions, and updates.
- Support the development of SiteStudy.com projects as the business scales nationally.
- Manage multiple project deliverables while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
Who are we looking for?
- 2–4 years of experience in architectural drafting, site planning, or related work.
- Strong command of AutoCAD, with proficiency in Photoshop.
- Experience preparing commercial-level site plans (e.g., layouts for buildings, parking, driveways, and sidewalks).
- Self-motivated with the capacity to make design decisions independently.
- Excellent English communication skills (Oral+Written)
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Experience working with US-based teams or clients is preferred
