Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Business Analyst to act as the key interface between business stakeholders and the BI delivery team. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, defining reporting logic, and translating business needs into clear and actionable BI deliverables. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, KPI definition, and analytics reporting, along with hands-on knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud and data-driven decision-making environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs.

• Document detailed business requirements, KPIs, metrics, and analytical use cases.

• Define data requirements, reporting logic, and business rules required to support dashboards and analytical reports.

• Prepare functional specifications and documentation for BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.

• Define data mappings and transformation logic required for ETL processes.

• Work closely with BI developers and data engineers to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.

• Coordinate with offshore development teams to clarify requirements and provide ongoing support during development.

• Review and validate dashboards, reports, and analytics outputs to ensure alignment with business expectations.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and validating report outputs.

• Manage prioritization and delivery of tactical report development requests.

• Ensure BI solutions provide meaningful insights and support business decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics projects.

• Strong experience in BI requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.

• Proven ability to define KPIs, business metrics, and analytical reporting frameworks.

• Good understanding of data modelling concepts, data structures, and ETL logic.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical BI specifications.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise BI or data warehouse environments.

• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and dashboard design.

• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
