About the role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support website development projects, ensure seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners, and enhance overall project execution. This role is ideal for a junior project management professional with excellent communication, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Head of Delivery and will primarily focus on supporting the line manager with project coordination and delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
Track and monitor project timelines and task completion to ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate daily task assignments and work items between internal team members and external agency partners under the guidance of delivery leads
Assist in ensuring internal team members follow defined processes, workflows, and documentation guidelines
Maintain and update project boards using Asana and Kanban methodologies to streamline task visibility
Perform basic content updates in WordPress or Shopify, such as updating copy, swapping images, or adjusting layouts using page builders like Elementor
Navigate GitHub repositories to check out branches for basic user-level QA testing (no coding required)
Monitor project scope changes, flag potential scope creep to leadership early, and assist in keeping team tasks aligned with core objectives
Help identify project bottlenecks and support implementation of process improvements
Maintain clear, regular communication with internal stakeholders regarding task statuses, deliverables, and upcoming milestones
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall execution efficiency
Who are we looking for?
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a digital or web development agency
Proven experience in managing teams and ensuring adherence to processes
Familiarity with WordPress and Shopify is preferred.
Experience working with Asana, Kanban, and other project management tools
Strong communication skills to manage cross-functional team deliverables.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
Position: Project Coordinator
Remote Status: Fully Remote
Preferred Location: South Africa & Latin America
Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm MT
Holidays: 11 paid holidays and 10 days of paid time off annually
Salary: USD 1600 - USD 2000 per month
