Our client is a US-based Personal Injury law firm dedicated to helping individuals navigate accident and injury claims. The firm provides client-focused legal services while managing cases from intake through settlement.
They are looking for a detail-oriented remote professional to support settlement operations by managing financial documentation, lien tracking, case expenses, and coordination between attorneys, clients, providers, and internal teams.
About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lien & Settlement Coordinator to support our Personal Injury practice. This role will manage the financial aspects of case resolution, including reviewing expenses, tracking liens, verifying settlement documents, and ensuring accurate client disbursements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and coordinating with attorneys, providers, accounting teams, and internal staff to ensure smooth settlement processes.
What you’ll be doing:
Review case expenses, settlement statements, and financial records.
Track liens, balances, provider negotiations, and disbursements.
Maintain case documentation in CloudLex and shared folders.
Coordinate payments, invoices, deposits, and wire transfers.
Identify financial discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
Handle settlement-related inquiries from attorneys, staff, and vendors.
US law firm experience is mandatory.
Experience in personal injury law is preferred.
Accounting or numbers background is preferred.
Who are we looking for?
1–3 years of settlement coordination experience.
Knowledge of settlements, liens, and case resolution processes.
Experience with CloudLex, QuickBooks, Excel, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information and work independently in a remote environment.
Position: Lien & Settlement Coordinator

Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm EST
