Our client is a US-based Law Firm specializing in family-based immigration and dedicated to providing professional, client-focused legal support throughout the immigration process.
About the role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal with hands-on experience supporting US immigration and family-based law matters. The ideal candidate will have US immigration paralegal experience and, ideally, a law degree or attorney background from their home country, combined with practical experience working on US immigration cases. This role will support attorneys with case preparation, documentation, client communication, legal research, and case management.
US law firm experience is mandatory.
Experience in Immigration and family law is preferred.
What you’ll be doing:
Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, supporting documents, and legal correspondence.
Support family-based immigration matters, including family petitions, adjustment of status, and consular processing.
Collect, review, and organize client documents and supporting evidence.
Track case deadlines, USCIS notices, filing requirements, and RFEs.
Communicate with clients to collect information and missing documentation.
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries as needed.
Maintain organized and accurate case files and case management records.
Work closely with attorneys to ensure cases are prepared accurately and submitted on time.
Who are we looking for?
2+ years of experience as a US Immigration Paralegal.
Strong experience with US family-based immigration cases.
Law degree or attorney experience in their native country is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of USCIS processes, immigration terminology, and documentation.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases remotely.
Experience with Clio, Filevine, or similar legal case management systems is a plus.
